Columbus provides a deep aromatic hoppiness with subtle citrus notes—perfect as for dual purpose usage. Commonly used late in the boil and, when fresh, Columbus has an herbal flavor with a lemon citrus back note. Usable in a large variety of styles, notably American-style ales.
